What is the difference between the glominerals Concealer and the Camouflage?
The Concealer should be used in the under-eye area, and can also be used to cover hyperpigmentation on the face, as it is a moisturizing formula and contains ingredients that will help improve dark skin areas while you wear it. We do not recommend using the Concealer to cover blemishes due to it’s moisturizing nature.
The Camouflage is best when used to cover scars, hyperpigmentation, blemishes and even tattoos! This formulation is not as moisturizing as the Concealer, and gives full coverage (it is very thick). If you are looking for a great product to cover blemishes, trythe glominerals blemish stick with chamomile and salicylic acid for added benefits.
Why does the glominerals Concealer come with 2 colors? How do I use them?
The Concealer comes in two colors so that you can blend to make the perfect match for your skin-tone. We suggest that you use the Concealer Brush to apply. Start by using the top of the handle of your brush to shave off a tiny bit of each color and place on the back of your hand. Blend the two together with the brush for the perfect color and apply to the desired areas. The less product you use, the better. Start with a small amount, because you can always go back and layer.
What is the difference between the glominerals Matte II Finish and Satin II Finish in the Liquid Base?
The Matte II Finish Liquid Base is for people with excessively oily skin, as it is a very thick, matte formulation that will blend well with the skin’s natural oils for an easy application and a matte finish with full coverage. This formulation will not agree with skin that is not excessively oily and is best applied with the Foundation Brush and a spritz of Hydration Mist.
The Satin II Finish Liquid Base is for Dry, Normal and Combination skin types. It gives a full coverage and goes on best with the Foundation Brush and a spritz of Hydration Mist.
What foundation would be best for my skin type?
- Excessively Oily: Matte II Liquid Foundation with Perfecting Powder for lighter skin-tone and Matte Finishing Powder for darker skin-tone. If you do not prefer liquid foundation, try the Pressed Base.
- Oily: Pressed Base with Perfecting Powder for lighter skin-tone and Matte Finishing Powder for darker skin-tone.
- Combination: Satin II Finish Liquid Base or Loose Base, both used with the Perfecting Powder for lighter skin-tone and Matte Finishing Powder for darker skin-tone in the t-zone. Combination skin types may also use the Pressed Base.
- Dry/Sensitive/Mature: Satin II Finish Liquid Base or Loose Base.
What brush do you recommend for applying the powder foundations? And can I use the sponge that comes in the pressed base compact?

I just added serums to my daily skincare regime. How do I know what to put on first, second, etc. and what time of day do I use them?
Always apply your products in order of density; thinnest to thickest. For example, if you use a serum, apply it first after cleansing, then moisturizer and sunscreen (ideally you’ll have a moisturizer that contains an SPF to avoid excess layers of product on the face). If you use two serums, like the Cellex-C and Hydration serums, you will apply the C-serum first, as it is the thinnest liquid, then the Hydration Serum, as it is thicker like a gel. Vitamin C serums should always be used in the morning to provide your skin antioxidant protection throughout the day. Serums containing very active ingredients like acids or peptides, should be used at night.
What is the difference between the Cellex-C vitamin-C serums and the vitamin-C creams?
The serums are the purest form of Vitamin-C and contain high concentrations of L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and may be used by any skin-type according to sensitivity:
- Sensitive Serum: 7%
- High Potency Serum: 10%
- Advanced C Serum: 17.5%
The creams, while also providing high concentrations of Vitamin-C, contain extra antioxidant ingredients. They tend to be more moisturizing, which is great for dry and mature skin-types, but are not moisturizers. They are considered a treatment and users will still need to wear a moisturizer and an SPF.
- Skin Firming Cream: 10%
- Skin Firming Cream Plus: 10% with Lycopene, a powerful antioxidant derived from tomatoes.
- Advanced C Skin Tightening Cream: 17.5% with antioxidants ergothyoneine and grapeseed extract.
